Our clients benefit from the skills of a team consisting of eleven (11) employees split over the underwriting and broking departments backed up by a dedicated claims team. Star Group caters for the needs of approximately 10,000 clients located not only in Greece but also in Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria. The company is a major player in the domestic market, ceding at the same time a considerable volume to the London and other international markets.

Job Duties

  • Communicating with clients and sub-agents
  • Understanding clients’ insurance needs and submit relevant quotations
  • Negotiating with insurance companies (local or international) for underwriting and claims issues
  • Explaining insurance terms to clients by indicating key points such as waiting periods, exclusions, etc.
  • Supporting clients and sub-agents over claims
  • Monitoring clients’ financial balances
  • Back office duties

Skills and qualifications

  • Previous experience on Life, Health & Personal Accident underwriting & claims
  • Level A certificate from the Bank of Greece
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Communication skills & team spirit
