Ensure the most effective credit limit service in term of quality of decision, turnaround time and communication toward customers. Built a trustee relationship with customers, to maximize portfolio profitability and customer satisfaction. Attract new customers/prospects by quality of service and underwriting decisions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Decide credit limit requests consistently, within response time required by the Group Standards
- by assessing buyer with all information available in the proprietary system and market knowledge
- Monitoring of the risk portfolio in the time by time market and trade sectors conditions
- by liaising with internal offices, particularly Info & Grading dept., Commercial dept. and Claims & Collections, in order to have the clearest and full view of conditions and information and to take the proper limit decision
2. Be responsible of a dedicated customers portfolio, steer it and provide a pro-active service level, according to PH classification
- by regularly meet customers and brokers
- by organizing telephone conferences
- by liaising with colleagues abroad in other Group BUs for export business
3. Contribute to support Commercial in steering customers loss ratio and implement necessary actions to ensure or restore profitability of portfolio
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
1. Market knowledge
- knowledge in dedicated business industries
2. Business expertise
- strong business/finance assessment skills
- in depth knowledge and experience in credit assessment skill, can take decision
- demonstrate commercial awareness
3. Interpersonal skills
- be a good communicator and able to convince about all decisions taken
- ability to hold visits and contacts
4. Ability to build long term customer relationship, even in a deteriorated market
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in credit management; Experience in the finance industry (credit insurance, banking, factoring) is a plus.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy: Skillful in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel, Power Point and large data management
