Capital controls: Οι σχεδιαζόμενες αλλαγές στο όριο ανάληψης μετρητών

Since September is expected the new relaxation of capital controls according to the government, with changes both in the withdrawal limit, and the time lag.

Banks propose to the Bank of Greece to the citizen cumulatively raises the amount of 420 euros, which is the weekly limit for either two weeks or for the entire month.

The first scenario is the weekly withdrawal limit remains at EUR 420 per week, with depositors keep the right to take them in one week, but plus will be allowed to withdraw up to 840 euros, the limit of two weeks.

The second scenario is that the withdrawal limit reached the cumulative commitment for one month (four weeks) i.e. 1,680 euros.

A third scenario being considered is to increase the limit to 500 euros per week and an increase in the time and the cumulative margin to take two weeks, i.e. EUR 1,000 anytime within two weeks.
